Casting Silence

Friends –

When they say, 'Water is Life', they are so very right. Water is also peace and health and sanity. The Pacific Northwest has been blessed this year with the gift of plentiful water in the form of rain and snow. It is making springtime so lush and green that flowers are blooming where I have never seen them before.

And if you ask my grandchild, Benjamin, water in these high country Oregon waters means rainbow trout and plenty of them. He loves nothing better than to go fishing with his Papa, as he is here in the lovely morning silence at the Deschutes River.

'Casting Silence' is not for sale. I have been told that this is one painting that may not leave the family. But for those inclined to make a donation to a good nonprofit, I will probably be making some reproductions. LMK.
